The Samsung HW-Q67CT is a 7.1 channel soundbar that has a great, sturdy build. You get a 38.6-inch soundbar that has 5 built in speakers – 3 in the front (Left, Center, Right) and 2 up-firing speakers on the top of the bar itself (which Samsung calls Acoustic Beam), a wireless 6-inch subwoofer, and *wireless surround speakers. *The surround speakers are wireless from the soundbar but are wired to a receiver module. The Samsung HW-Q67CT also offers Q-Symphony technology, that synchronizes 2020 Samsung QLED TV speakers with the Q-Series soundbar speakers for a fuller, more immersive, cinematic sound. In the video below, I will be reviewing the Samsung HW-Q67CT 7.1 Soundbar and give you my honest opinion on how it performs, what I like and don’t like about this soundbar, and if I recommend it or not.

DJ, great job explaining the Q67CT set up.
I purchased the QQ67 bar a few weeks ago. I connected the sound bar to a Samsung TV purchased in June 2015. The TV has an HDMI connection labeled ARC. I connected the HDMI cable to the same ARC plugin on the sound bar. When I switched the TV speaker to the Q67CT speaker all went well until I shut down the TV. Next time I turned on the TV the speaker source changed on it’s own. I had to switch back to the Q67 source. To fix the problem I had to use an audio cable. Although my TV has a ARC port it might be to old.
The issue concerning the firmware update. I talked with Customer Service and the Technical department for a week because I too could not update to the latest firmware, HMS-Q60 TWWB 1005.2. I tried every instruction they offered, nothing helped. I got the same readout from the small screen on the bar, NO DATA.
I was passed on to yet another smarter technician and went though the entire process again. He finally told me to return the sound bar for repair.
Several days later I got a email from keva Coric [email protected] telling me “Our technician tested your device, the firmware is updated. If you are getting a message in he sound bar display that says “no data” — means newer or same ver.firmware that compared to the F/W in the USP was already installed. Not sure I believe a word of it, The question I’m waiting to be answered is, if it’s working as advertised why have me send it back, No response yet.
They furnished two ways to communicate with them, contact Elmer at 201-770-0005 ext 113 and, [email protected]. I’m not happy with these idiots.
When you said “the speaker source changed on it’s own. I had to switch back to the Q67 source.” are you talking about the TV going back to TV Speakers instead of HDMI ARC? Does the soundbar work good now that you got it back? When you turn on the TV does the soundbar stay on HDMI or do you still have to change audio source on your TV (if that is what’s happening)?
