Amazon’s Alexa Voice Remote Pro is packed with a lot of features that Fire TV users have been asking for years now.
Some of these features that make this remote stand out from the rest are:
- Backlit Buttons
- Remote Finder
- Two Custom Buttons
- Headphone Button
The Alexa Voice Remote Pro is by far the best remote that Amazon released. The remote feels premium, the two custom buttons are a must have if you own a Fire Edition TV since you can program them to switch to an HDMI input with a press of a button, the Backlit Buttons only light up when the room is dark making it easy to see all the buttons on the remote. The Remote Finder is another great feature but you need to own either a Fire TV Cube, an Echo, or have the Fire TV App in order to use it. The dedicated Headphone Button is a great feature if you use headphones for private listening. You can pair/connect/disconnect your Bluetooth headphones without the need to leave what you are watching. Just press the Headphone Button and pair or connect/disconnect your Bluetooth headphones.
The only downfall of this remote is the price. At $34.99 regular price it’s a tough sell for most Fire TV Stick users since that is what the cost is for a new Fire Stick 4K.
You can catch it on sale though very often for $27.99 which makes it a little more affordable and justify the cost for all the features that it packs especially if you own a Fire Edition TV.
