To pair a remote with your Echo Show 15, follow these steps:
- For the initial remote pairing:
- Say “Open Settings” to your Echo Show 15.
- Select “Get Started With Fire TV Remote” and follow the on-screen instructions to order or pair a Fire TV remote.
- If you have previously paired a remote with your Echo Show 15, use the instructions below to pair an additional one.
- On your Echo Show 15:
- Swipe down from the top edge of the screen or say “Open Settings.”
- Select “Fire TV Settings” and then choose “Fire TV Remotes.”
- Select “Add a new remote.”
- On the Alexa Voice Remote:
- Press and hold the Home button for 10 seconds.
- The Echo Show 15 will notify you when it discovers the remote.
- On the Echo Show 15 screen:
- Select the listed remote to complete the pairing process.
Please note the following:
- We recommend using a remote as the primary way to control Fire TV on your Echo Show 15.
- The Echo Show 15 also provides an on-screen remote for touch navigation and supports voice control.
- The remote does not control widgets, skills, or services on the Echo Show 15.
Important: The Alexa Voice Remote (3rd Generation) is the only remote that can be paired with the Echo Show 15. It can be paired with only one Echo Show 15 or one Fire TV device at a time. However, you can pair multiple remotes with your Echo Show 15.
